Hon. H. Price.
Commr. of Indian Affairs

Sir

The enclosed statement of Mrs Margaret Sloan, which I had the honor to submit under date of April 28, 1884.

Upon consideration of her statement I find in it no new facts bearing upon her claim to receive an allotment. Her explanation of her claim from the tribe in the year 1865 being caused by her husbands placing her elsewhere to him during his employment in the U.S. Service does not alter the fact that she was not here, and consequently cut off from the provision of [[?A.2]] in the treaty of March 6, 1885 concerning mixed-blood relatives.
