If this man Peter or any other person is permitted to come and settle down on tribal land, and the Government does not by its law take the man away, we do not feel that our own farms will be kept safe for us, for the promise is the same for one individual and our tribal land.

[[strikethrough]] We are also troubled by [[/strikethrough]] These intruders [[strikethrough]] because they [[/strikethrough]] are on the best of our tribal land. [[strikethrough]] land [[/strikethrough]] which some of us wish to take [[strikethrough]] land [[/strikethrough]] for our young children. Some of the tribe did not listen to good advice when our land was allotted. they thought they could not live away from the timber out on the prairie, but they see their mistake now & they want to take land for their children out on the prairie and cultivate farms there. [[strikethrough]] they do not want this land held by men who have no rights to the land and it keep it from those who have [[/strikethrough]]

We respectfully ask that you take immediate action to eject the intruders on our tribal lands. [[strikethrough]] Th [[/strikethrough]] Frank Peters will soon put in his crop and he doesn't want him to [[strikethrough]] put any more [[/strikethrough]] work on the land which can never be rightfully his.
