SIR:

In accordance with your suggestion of March 12th last,an investigation has been made of the affairs among the Omahas,in which investigation particular attention was given to the charges contained in Mr. Tibbles' letter to you (with its enclosure), that the Omahas had been wronged and defrauded in the matter of grazing leases (especially by Ed.Farley), and were on the point of bloodshed.

The report shows that in their grazing business both Ed.Farley and Henry Fontenelle have faithfully carried out their agreements with the Omahas and not only have honestly accounted for all funds received, but have slightly overpaid the Omahas.
