Dear Sir:
I wish to state a fact which as it alludes to a person I thought you might not wish embodied in the letter I have just written. The Omahas have been directed and assisted in their efforts by Miss A.C. Fletcher of Boston a lady of culture and brains, who has been for eight months in pursuit of scientific knowledge by living among the Indians and staying with them in their tepes and lodges. She has acquired many facts illustrating some archeological problems, but what is of more importance to us just now is that she became so interested in the Indians and their future that she has entered heart and soul into the work of obtaining titles to their lands, and
