Sir:

At the invitation of Agent Warner I visited with him the Industrial School among the Omahas, and at his instance [[sic]] I report to you concerning the condition of the school building.

I can fully endorse all that Agent Warner states as to the crowding of pupils.  He has not told the half [[strikethrough]] of needs [[/strikethrough]] rather than exaggerated the story.  The children are forced to sleep three and four in a bed in the Small rooms he has mentioned.  The entire building, which was a very poorly constructed house, both in workmanship and plan, is out of keeping for school purposes, and ought to be remodeled and made a wing of a properly planned house.  It would be money saved in the end.  There is no gathering room, for any sort of home life, the dining room is too small to accommodate the children in an orderly manner.  There is no proper-
