are needed. 1st The fractional part of Township 37, Ranges 1 & 2 East, and 1, 2, 3, & 4, W. have land lying along the North boundary and in places running 2 or 3 miles South that will be allotted, probably; The South line of these townships lies along the steep breaks of the Clearwater, where nothing can be raised or grazed, except in range 4. W. Can the township lines be run south from the [[insert]] North [[/insert]] boundary of the reservation, where they meet the survey north of the reservation, so as to throw any error that may occur on the North line of Township 36, instead of [[insert]] on [[/insert]] the north boundary of the reservation? If the lines must be extended from the south, i.e. the 7th Standard, the lines will have to be run over a country that in parts is almost impassable, and will be very difficult & consume much time. No one will be likely to ever need land along the South line of Township 37, where it crosses the breaks & bluffs of the Clearwater.

2d. The East line of T.33.N. Range 3. East has been surveyed south 3 miles and 10 chains. Shall the Surveyor continue that line south to the S.E. corner of Section 36, thence run the Township line
