As the Indian is suddenly called to battle beside us in these new conditions, he should have a full or as free share in all our educational methods and advantages, that he may be prepared to find his opportunity for successful self support on the on the farm, in the shop, in the office, or where ever his abilities and gifts may direct him.

With sincere wishes that your efforts in behalf of Indian Education may meet with success. Since the task of converting "the American Indian into the Indian American" belongs to the Indian student.
