The valley where the church and other buildings stand is about 60 rods wide and less than half a mile long. The church's graveyard, a new building intended for a school with its garden plot, are on the East side of the road running thro. the valley; the opposite side is occupied by cabins used by the Indians when attending the church ceremonies.
