It is very warm, & yet the house is so large that one can keep cool. None of the children are here but Alice, the youngest daughter, about 19. Joe is at Margaret's, the newly married daughter on Long Island. Harry is in England, and Ed on the Atlantic Coast. Those are all Mrs T's own children, the other group, the step-children are all off at their country places. Mrs McMillan is here, a delightful lady whom I have met here many times, and a little girl of 16, daughter of a Missionary in India.
