enjoy it.  The book is called "Thoughts Transendental and Practical"  She is
much interested in our work.  I am going to ask Small & Maynard to send her
a copy of your book.  I told her of it & she wants to see it.

Yesterday I went to Glastonbury & Wells.  The former is the oldest establishment in England.  It was founded in 703. as a Saxon church, then
destroyed & later rebuilt shortly after the Norman Conquest in 1101.  It is
now a ruin, but very picturesque & find near there was Camelot where ^[[King]]
Arthur held his court with his Knights of the Round Table. and tradition has
it that here ^[[King]] Arthur & his queen were buried.  We drove from Wells 
to Glastonbury 5 miles. & then back to Wells. where in a green little Inn
built in and on the old wall we had our lunch.
