Every one is very kind to me here. Dr Sturge is very found of Miss Gay, making her the center of every thing.  Every thing is shaped to her wishes & likes and Miss Gay speaks her mind as she used to do, but Dr. S. does not seem to mind it.  So, no hurt is felt.  I think Miss Gay is far happier than ever before, & I am very glad to know & to see it.  The change was well every way.  Miss Gay is I think gentler than she was.  Poor Miss Bradley is full of trouble-
A letter from Mrs [[Barnes?]] tells me, that Mr Shiskoff the Russian gentleman we visited is dead,  That is very sad.
Send a postal once in a while to Dora.  She writes she has not heard from you.
