A letter from Mrs. Cushing this morning tells me she is not going to California this winter! That the wedding is postponed & her sister going also. All this she does not tell very clearly. She wants to stay in New York a while for music. I have written telling he she had better do so as I can't be home until Dec. Today I write to two steam ship companies to ask about Steam sailing the last of November. I have written Dora of the change in plans. I hope things will straighten out some way.

The stories you write are most interesting. I am so glad you
are doing so well. I enclose a program Mrs. Cushing sent me.
So Cadman's Songs are still being sung. I don't like women's

on Nov. 9. Shall go then to Oxford & I hope to sail the last
week in Nov. will let you know as soon as I know the line & the
