Feb. 15. 1911.

My dear Francis

The enclosed letter has just come. You see there is quite a break up in the Barrows family. Prof. Murray finds that living on Staten Island he loses too much time going to & fro from Columbia University. Often he has to stand in the sub-way and thus he cannot read or do anything. Mrs Barrows told me when I saw her that she thought this would come about and now I see it has.

I do not know as you can divine a name. It needs to be easy and sonorous. Never-the-less you can think of something. Return me the letter please for I must answer it.
I sent little June a Valentine.

It has turned cold and rainy.
