I am glad I know where the horn is. Did you take the paper on the Ponka language that Dr. Boas sent me?

Are you still living at the School? Is S.C. all right now? -

I must tell you something interesting I called yesterday on Miss Dorsey & thus I met Mr. Ogilvie who is to speak tomorrow on Reisner's work in Egypt. Miss Dorsey told him of your work, said "he". Mr. La F., "is now by the bedside of a dying chief. Taking down the dying words of a dying race!"

"How interesting!" exclaimed Mr. O. While this is true I should hardly put it in so dramatic a form, but Miss D. is always dramatic. She asked after you, & I told her, & you see how it took form in her speech.

You remember Mr. Holcombe who used to be in the Indian Dept. - his mother died yesterday. She was a dear old friend of Mrs McMillan who is just now in the city, at the Hotel Grafton.

Goodbye. Write soon & keep well.

Mrs P said Saturday "Give my love to Mr. La F.".

Ever affly
