Home March 18. 1911

My dear Francis

Your letter of March 14 has come. I had been quite anxious about you for it was over a week since I had heard from you, and when I do not hear I cannot help wondering if you are ill, have met with an accident or if any mishap has befallen you. I am glad to know that all is well and that your work is progressing.

I have just been talking with Mr. Hodge on the telephone.

1st I spoke to him about the tattooing outfit. He does not think that there will be any trouble about being danger [[strikethrough]] in taking it up [[/strikethrough]] from having it as it can be poisoned here. So that part will be safe. About opening the grass & getting the material out, Mr. Hodge is going to ask Dr. Hodlicher what should be done so there will be no injury to health & then

[] The enclosed came this morning I will call on Dr. Nicholas & learn what I can. The Bond has come. []

[] What will the pack cost Prof. Putnam? I'll write when I hear from you as to price. []
