I mentioned to Mr. Hodge that you wished to go with the Osage when they went to visit the Omaha, that you could gain much information as the two peoples talked together and it might facilitate you in getting hold of the Omaha packs. This Osage visit would take place in August. And you would like to take your vacation before that time. I said I thought you were a little tired and Mr. H. said he thought it likely for you had "worked hard" and needed a vacation & everything could be arranged.
