My dear F.
Only a line to tell you I have today deposited to your acct. $118.80 out of the checks you sent me, which was as follows. $60.- $65.- $91.80/100 = $216.80/100 From 216.80 I deducted $98. the price of the $100 bond less interest payable in June, which I had advanced when making the purchase for you. That left, 118.80/100 to deposit for you, which I did, & it is entered on your book.

I asked for your balance, not counting todays deposits. The balance was,
$238.65. | adding todays deposits
$118.80 | makes
[[tally line]]
$357.45 | is now your balance.

On the 25th the Homestake will be paid. Your dividend will be $65. from that I was to deduct $15. which I added to your check when the last Homestake was
