My dear Francis
Last evening about 10.30 I stopped work & went out to mail the Tribune to you & my short letter, then I returned and worked until 12 o'clock. I had to have the [[underlined]] ms [[/underlined]] ready for Mr. Gurley's messenger this morning  It was a difficult task in some ways, but it is done and the messenger has been here & taken it to Mr. Gurley. This morning I have been working on the Legend for the Omaha Hu'thuga and inserting the letters & numbers in the text so that the Diagrams will be helpful to the statements printed. I expect Mr. Gurley again either tomorrow or next day  he will telephone when he is ready  I really think all is gone over up to page 115. No one knows who has not experienced it how much
