I hope that the trial at Los Angeles will show the people how wicked has been the acts of the Unions, danymiting buildings distroying hundreds of lives, for the sake of forcesing a "recognition of the Union." That is, the right of the union to dictate whom the mine or the factory or the builder shall employ. Have you read any thing about it? - The labor Union people according to the Confession of some, + the Evidence that seems uncontrivertable, blew up + destroyed the building where a paper was published [[inserted]] in Los Angeles [[inserted]] which demanded the right to Employ Union or non-union men as the business demanded. The men who did this deed a year or two ago have been tracked, arrested & brought to Los Angeles for trial. The men were not poor ignorant men, but officers in the Bridge-builders Union - men who were leaders & not those who were led by others. It is a bad peice of business. & I trust for the sake of the good & honest work men that their murderers
