My dear Francis

It was good to get your postal from Chicago to know the journey was not a hot and trying one and you safely on the way. As you directed I sent the letter to Macy in Noah's care You should surely get it tomorrow but I do not feel quite sure. You were due in Sioux City this A M. & in Walkhill this afternoon. I suppose the camp will break up tomorrow or Saturday.

I feel a bit troubled lest you be without letters, and I do not like them to accumulate in Macy. I shall therefore send this to Caryls care as the safer thing to do. A letter from Caryl came to you yesterday & I at once forwarded it to you care of Caryle's home address. I have no other,it will be waiting for you there & I fancy be one of the assurances that you are expecting to visit them. You recall you told me to send to you at Caryls after Macy.

Florence Spofford called to see me yesterday & spent quite little time. She brought me Dr. Pierce's Sermon which was on its way to to Helen N.
