Monday the new chiefs will inaugurated in spite of the Secretary's disapproving their election. These people, instigated by oil men, are inclined to be defiant of government authority. They seem to hold both the Secy. and Commissioner with contempt and they talk of cutting loose from the govt. but if they do there will be no Osages or Osage wealth.
