the election of the Osage Council and the leases that the Secretary has twice turned down, and how it will all end is a mystery. It is certain, though, that the Secy. will adhere to his decision in the matter of the three councilmen accused with corruption.

My work goes slowly on. I am now on ghost stories. Some of them are very good. I shall try to get more of the demon stories. For that purpose I shall go to Hominy for a few days.
