Pawhuska, Ok. Sept-9-1912 ^[[(illegible) Sept. 29]] My dear M, this morning I got two letter from you. One dated Aug. 24 and the other the 30th. I am very glad that you have decided to go to Italy if you have good company and I hope you will see all that you desire to see. Bring me some little thing from Rome, not too expensive, a pebble picked up from the ground will do. The pictures of Oxford are very good and I enjoyed reading the letters of our friends. I am very glad that they remain loyal to you. I should be making out my accounts today but I must write some letters and also be with Wa-xri-zhi while he is here today. He is going to marry off his daughter and has come to ask his friends to take part in the Mi-Zhin. Next Friday will be the wedding day and he asks me to be present so I will have to go. I shall see those gaudy epaulettes bought in Washington displayed,
