I think, now, I know everything about the Mi-zhiu that is worth knowing. It is quite an elaborate ceremony and its description will take quite a number of pages. I learned some new things at this ceremony from Wa-xri-zhi. It is most interesting but I am afraid it is going to be hard writing.

Fred Lookout has asked me to spend a few days at his house. He will have his uncle there to tell stories and talk about the Non-hon-zhiu-ga-i-e-ta. The old fellow knows a good deal about it but he does not want to give it away. I think though that he will come around to it. He is willing to talk about it but he will not sit down and tell all in its sequence. He will sing [[insert]] a few of the [[/insert]] songs and recite some of the rituals and talk about them but he will not give them all.
