O, the letter enclosed in one of yours was from Lucy telling me of a Sioux woman who wants to come and work for her. Lucy is still suffering with her foot and wants some one to care for her - I told her I would keep her for three months if she can find some one to do the work.

I secured from old Thou'-ge-mon-cr' before he left more things that were not altogether clear about the officers of the hunt. The number is confusing - only four men conduct the hunt, that is to say, those who give the orders. I have written it out. I have also written out the program that Wa-sho-she made at the meeting - as well as I could remember it. There are other things also that I have noted down. I met at the meeting a blind woman - she takes great comfort in the peyote, altho she does not attend regularly. She did not attend this one. She will be blind eleven years in the spring of this year. She says she sees the faces of her dead relatives and also beautiful country with flowers. I shall try to write what I can remember of her story. She is a happy blind woman. At first she was unhappy, then she took the peyote, and now she thinks that life is yet worth living -

Now it is beginning to get dark so must close. If the O.O. is open will try to mail this - this [[?]] - Thank you very much for looking after those boxes fro me -
