In one of the drawers of my desk you will find a copy of my letter to Mr. Vaux on the peyote. Please send it to me. I want to give it to Bonnicastle. He is the one who took Mr. Vaux and Mr. MacDowell to see the ceremony when they were here. It seems that as soon as they saw the meaning of the thing they changed front completely. He seems very much encouraged by the attitude those two men now take toward the religion.
