My dear M-

I came here from Carey's yesterday. I expected to go to Sioux City this evening but I have not quite recovered from the attack I told you of in my last letter.

Carey will be here today and we will go for a jaunt to the old mission site and to the rocks above. It is cold at night but I keep warm as I now have my overcoat.
