and I would like to get at them.

The meeting at Francis Clanmore's which Bonnicastle and I attended was interesting, it was conducted in a dignified manner. Fred Lookout was there, and when the meeting was over he gave to some of the men an account of the hearing before the Senate Committee on the peyote question. The Osage have not yet organized but they will soon take action toward placing themselves on the charter granted some of the Oklahoma Tribes by the legislature. Clanmore was pleased at my attending his meeting, he expressed this by giving me a pair of moccasins which will be an addition to my small collection.

I am very glad Jane is getting over her shadowy fears of the front room and that she is doing well with her work. I hope she will continue to do well but if she does not we know what to do.

It was a beautiful day yesterday and the drive over the prairie was very pleasant. Bonnicastle got a new Ford car and is anxious for me to go with him when he goes out. If he goes out to Gray Horse, I want to go with him and take a photographer along to get a picture of old Ku'-shi-wa-tse. He was not at the dance so that opportunity did not materialize.

Referring again to Mrs. Burlin's letter I think you could get Mr. Otto Kahn interested in the scheme, since he has corresponded with you on other matters that have interested him. You may find some way of bringing the matter to his attention in an interesting way. I hardly think Evans would care to take the matter up unless he can manage it in every particular. Something of the kind suggested by Mrs. Burlin ought to be done to have the Indian material taken up and used seriously.

Give my love to the Parsons.

Affly,
