As to my divs I think you had better hold them till I come home as I shall have something to add to them.

Mr. Guthrie may be able to help in Miss. Curtis' plans.  I think it would be a good thing and we may see Miss. C. herself when we are in New York and have a talk with her.

I am glad you are going to keep the fire going through this month. It is cold and damp here. The rain has left a sea of mud and auto transfer men are charging the Indians double price but they travel despite the heavy expense.

I am quite well and comfortable. A visitor is here with two children and they are a nuisance, noisy and dirty. They make it difficult to keep the house clean. I forgive them on acct of one thing - they let my things alone and they don't go into my room.

It seems a long time since I left home - and I am getting pretty tired of this particular place, but I shall soon be leaving. I do not think I shall make a stop at St Louis. I shall come right on home.
