to a design for a fast machine but I hope to have more time in a few weeks when I will be glad to give you any assistance I can on your project. I presume Mr. Collier is backing you in this matter as it will prove quite expensive- probably more so than you can afford.

It would not be possible at the present time to give any estimate of the cost of building a plane as this would depend very much upon the design. If you could submit a sketch of your ideas we could make some kind of an estimate. If you have not particular suggestion, after my present rush is over I will be glad to take up the matter of a design for you. In the meantime I would be glad to have as full particulars as possible of your general plans and of the design of the motor so that we could accommodate the machine to the motor.
