 | Jan. 30: Dowel pins in magneto base fell out in air, one striking propeller. Damage slight. Safe landing. Magneto backed loose from coupling, stopping motor. Dowel pin in crank case found loose.
 | Jan. 31: While making right turn in air, roller broke in left chain. Safe landing. Substituted new link.
 | Feb. 1. Hole was punched in bottom of boat on the beach. Removed boat and patched.
