NO. OF FLIGHT. | REMARKS.
[[/preprinted]]

118 | Standardized Paragon propellors; course straight away from tangent to Marine quay stack & North Island pier to tangeret N. side Coronado ferry distance 1.3 miles Speed 41.5 M.p.h. Then changed propellors to Wright pattern
119 | Standardized Wright propellors, same course, little more cross wind; speed 41.2 M.P.H.
120 | Set magneto back on tooth reducing speed of engine, giving better results. Landings before light breeze failed to level her off enough, catching her under the water causing machine to dive & turn over, throwing out the pilot uninjured. Damage: 4 planes broken & torn; 2 stanchions 2 diags. Boats very slightly damaged. The mache was repaired and rebuilt using the Navy Yd. Washn. pontoon Curtiss type No 2 - making hydroplane of one boat & 2 wing tip (regular Curtiss type) pontoons. When [[strikethrough]] found [[/strikethrough]] tried it was found that too much spray water was thrown back & too much rot. on right side, giving tendency to dragist wing. In two trial runs on the water, the engine stopped due to water in magneto. A hydro braid was placed on the bow & splash boards alongside of bow & casing in front of magneto. Further experiments were delayed awaiting good weather.

121 | Machine seemed all right in the air.
