| On Dec. 8 & 9, took off skids and put on Burgers Wright pontoons. Took off lower left wing & replaced it with new one; old was damaged by catching in corn stalks at getaway from muddy field, bringing down machine in flight #38. On Dec. 10th magnets failed - removed & repaired.

40 | Instruction in hydro-aeroplane. - Machine stalled due to making turn before sufficient altitude was reached. Machine dropped 15 feet. New planes ^[[& tail complete]] & boats repaired are required.

43 | Test run for engine. - rocker pin blew - safety wired.
