In general it does not pay to try to telephone to Dayton. Telegraphing is much better. If you put special delivery stamps on letters mailed after noon they reach us the following ^[[day in]] evening but otherwise not till next morning following that. When you telephone waste no time insisting on talking with me personally. I usually have my sister do the talking as her voice carries better than mine. At any time it is as good to get Orville as to get me. He can answer questions, or make decisions equally as well as I.
