Of the Charge, "Guilty." SENTENCE. And the Court does therefore sentence the said William Bloom, Private, Co. H, 129th Ind. Vol. Inf., "To forfeit six months pay." 2. William C. Shannon, Private, Co. C, 123d Ind. Vol. Infantry, CHARGE I. Disobedience of Orders. Specification--"In this, that William C. Shannon, Co. C, 123d Ind. Vol. Inf., did, on the 4th day of July, 1865, leave his company, contrary to orders, and without the consent of his commanding officer. This at camp near Charlotte, N. C., July 4th, 1865." CHARGE II. Assault wit intent to Wound. Specification--"In this, that the said William C. Shannon, Co. C. 123d Ind. Vol Inf., did, in a mischievous, rude and insolvent manner, inflict a wound by shooting one James Morris, colored. This at camp near Charlotte, July 4th, 1865."
