[[underline]] Sept. 14 [[/underline]].  Left Ravalli at 4 AM on stage for Polson, then took boat on Flathead Lake for Somers and train to Belton

[[underline]] Sept. 15 [[/underline]].  Colored zone map for the country covered, then took return train to Kalispell and wrote on reports till bedtime. 

[[underline]] Sept. 16 [[/underline]]. Took 7 AM train to Somers, then boat to Polson then stage to Ravalli, arriving at 6 P.M. Set trap before dark & wrote reports till bedtime.

[[underline]] Sept. 17 [[/underline]]. Caught a few specimens & wrote reports all day. Set more traps

[[underline]] Sept. 18 [[/underline]]. Made up specimens and wrote reports & mailed packages & packed baggage and took 12:35 train west from Ravalli. Reached Hope, Idaho at dark.

[[underline]] Sept. 19 [[/underline]]. Reached North Yakima at 8 AM. Drove to Kowiche and up Kowiche River

[[underline]] Sept. 20 [[/underline]]. Set traps along Natchese River and made lists of plants and birds and mammals.

[[underline]] Sept. 21 [[/underline]]. Took up traps early in morning getting enough Microtus to settle status of species. Caught 10 AM excursion train for Seattle, and got notes on zones all across mts. Seattle 6 PM.
