Then the drill - it's snappy, good to look upon and they get there. But most of the commanders swear terribly at the men. The men mind, but what cursing. However it's all to get them trained. Our own little Englishman, a hero(?) returned on furlough from the place "where they had to work" did not drive us by swearing. Rather he took us into his confidence so we were with him right away. We must be under the English rule while we are in this camp so we must execute the "smart" English drill. I rather like the idea of leaning something of this classy marching, but it looks so funny to our men that I doubt whether everyone in our command feels the same way about the matter. More about the drill later...
