but their organization in Canada and England is so much better than the U.S. [[underline]] because of more experience. [[/underline]]

An inspecting officer came 'round to our barracks yesterday and made us clean it out thoroughly. Then we were 'paraded" and given a discipline tongue-lashing, after which we had to remain beside our bunks till we were dismissed. After an hour or so of waiting (such delays in the army are enormous- and keep you fretting and shifting from one foot to the other) Mr. Officer showed up and kicked us all out of the barracks (which are not being used for anything.) I was put into the hangar where the Cadets are packed like the shells in a munition factory. I stood it for ten minutes, then sneaked off to a tent where I'm going to stick till we get quarters. This is all a part of army life. It makes 4 times I've moved and I hope I'm settled for a month at least.
