We made New York in 48 hours on two fast trains, with half [[strikethrough]] hour [[/strikethrough]] an hour's stop in St. Louis. I enjoyed Bill's company and outside of the monotony of reading eating and sleeping on a stretch of Pullmans we had an enjoyable trip North. We were so overjoyed to get back to New York (after 6 months for me
