I was right at home in my old crowd in the 139th. The 27th and the 147th are also being shoved through with us and we are given preference over some of the poor honor men kaydets who left the States early last summer expecting to be at the Front in three months, but who have been put on a harder fare than we even suffered (and we suffered!) These kaydets built the camp along with the Chinese and German prisoners so....

I had a fine handshake with Adam Fitzkee, Ted Parsons, Jack Ogden (in the 139th) and Jim Healy, Jack Stevens,Frank Ennis, Jones, [[strikethrough]] all[[/strikethrough]] ^[[C."Pip" Porter, Abernathy,]] McDermiott and W.W. White (in the 147th) of our old original [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] 99 who left Fort Wood for Toronto. It was a fine sensation to get back with the old fellows and our reunion was full of enthusiasm, on my part at least.
