Ups and downs, and good and bad. In the first place the three K.F.C trained squadrons that came here for the final stopping place before heading for the Front were given a poor reputation by a certain Major Cedric Bourne who said in effect: - " [[underline]] All [[/underline]] these men are GOOD and they'll show you how to fly; they'll do [[underline]] wonders [[/underline]] etc, etc." Naturally the general statement was the greatest black-eye the aforementioned Major could have dealt because with the first crash and first death the casual officers of the post who are unattached, perpetually jealous, and critical of
