Front, is the stick-together spirit. So for that along I am thankful.

For excuses I could find [[strikethrough]] just [[/strikethrough]] a number if I cared to present them. Suffice to say that we have been trained by the R.F.C. and not the U.S.A. system. In that alone does the answer [[strikethrough]] to why? [[/strikethrough]] rest. [[strikethrough]] This [[/strikethrouugh]] There's a lot to be said about what we've had drummed into us by [[underlined]] returned [[/underlined]] R.F.C. heroes -- men whose word and instruction is [[strikethrough]] [[??]] [[/strikethrough as a barrel against a peck compared with the [[underlined]] inexperienced [[/underlined]] instructors training. But the R.F.C. gave us a Devil-may-care spirit that hardly helped us to observe good U.S. Army discipline and I'll say this in this connection:, "The petty and foolish rules of this camp needed revision, but we shouldn't have been the ones to take it upon ourselves to revise them!"
