The jokes ranged all around the map; the songs and especially the poetry had a touch of railing humor concerning itself with the joys (not!) of Army Life in France as well as a lighter-yet-heavier vein indicating the way it will be when we get back home. Digs at the other army corps, the commanding officers, and cooties came in due order.

Twice before the squadrons (the construction and ours) have enjoyed the shows provided under the "Y's" auspices - musical talent from the States, and movies. It tickles every mother's son of us to get out of the rut by such an acceptable method of passing a midweek evening - only doesn't it seem peculiar to have such a thing as a show so
