Dud weather all day long, with nothing more interesting than a repeated trip from barracks to hangar and return. I spent the time at the hangar studying maps, German plane silhouettes, and supervising the small changes I am constantly making to gain a squad with a personality. As soon as I gan confidence in my old engine and my [[underline]] new [[/underline]] machine gun, the one being doubtful and the other stiff, I'm sure I'll feel better about going still further into the rear of the German lines.
