buses at 7:00 A.M. so a new trip was scheduled for 8:00 A.M.

I spent nearly an hour over the aerodrome trying to locate the two Salmsons ^[[from the 91st squadron at Gondreville,]] which I was to protect and finally-made up my mind not to waste the flight and to "hop on" to any Salmson that came along.

The other Spad on the left hand position I made out to be Lt. Maclure in #9.
