It's high time that I sat me down to the pleasant task of making a resumé of the long interval since I've done duty by these pages. Since my transfer from the 139th to the 22nd in which latter squadron I was appointed a Flight Commander   my time has been the government's more than it has been up to this date. The added responsibilities due to the boost are enough to keep one busy.

When Captain Dudley Hill left the [[Umpty?]] Urmpes??]] it indicated the beginning of the splitting off process by which the more advanced squadrons at the Front should provide experienced men for the new groups being formed in the rear. Obviously the next move was for Captain Bridgman to get a squadron, then Putnam -- which Major Angstrom waits for a group command.
