Yet it had to be done for piston rings and wrist pins were badly fitted, indicating apprentices' work.  No wonder we hardly expected more than 4 or 5 hours out of our new consignment.
Inside of ten days, however, the ships of ^[[my]] "C" flight were ready for business and assignments were made. [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] The Captain chose to become a member of the flight so nine machines were divided among my mechanics.
