Everybody who saw the show said it was tremendously exciting and I suppose it was a remarkable setting and drama.
When I redressed and was joined by my mates again I looked in vain for the German balloon I was out for, but not seeing it I headed home, passing over the fuming remains of the balloon and the crowds about the observers who jumped.
I'm glad we got in quick enough to attack as we did.
Captain Bridgeman happened to be near the place and he said the work was great.
Hope we got him.  I think we did, But it won't be official, I'm afraid.
