When we returned to the barracks Lt. ^[[ (Sidney?)]] [[Groas?]] (who has been over here 25 years, lost 8 members of his family, and is at present our group confirmation officer) came out and offered his congratulations for the second time in 48 hours. Transcription Notes:
is that a 1 or a 2 before "unofficial" in the second-to-last line?
