Sleep and I are now on good terms since for two mornings I've had breakfast in bed. Today I arose at noon feeling that I was having a real rest. The sun was resplendant. I moved to a room on the front and from my balcony such a view. Such colors as the sea gives forth - from light green, [[strikethrough]]amyth[[/strikethrough]] amethyst, pink, red, pale blue, dun, and gold. the hills to the rear of the waterfront are messes of darker green shrubbery set with beaucoup olive trees and offset by the glistening white walled and red-roofed villas.
After lunch a St. Davis, one medico and three A.N.Cs. took our auto to Falicone [[strikethrough]]Rioncone (?)[[/strikethrough]] climbing the glorias
